Legion TD Mega v3.4 is released

    Finally! version v3.4 is released !

Changes Log for 3.4

Note: Pro & Master title is NOT finish yet, so it removed in this version.

New Race (Undead)
- Tier 1: range, magic damage
- Tier 2: melee, lifesteal
- Tier 3: range, siege damage, with small splash.
- Tier 4: raise dead, Aura ( -1% hp per second)
- Tier 5: melee, tank. small range aura, both aura stack.
- Tier 6: splash (similar to beast)

Mecenary rework:
- 1st unit: 8 Gold, 25 Lumber.
- 2nd unit: 25 Gold, 50 Lumber, +1 income, 330 Value.
- 3th unit: 50 Gold, 75 Lumber, +3 income, 500 Value.
- 4th unit: 100 Gold, 100 Lumber, +5 income, 900 value.
- Mecenary can defend up to level 31 without change builder.

"Change to Mecenary":
- mode "-li" will disable this ability
- require "-CB" mode
- can only use once
- Available after wave start (if your value lower than 50% of recommend value)


Paladin
- Paladin night attack faster. (same dps)
- Guard attack faster. (same dps)
- Elite archer damage changed : 12->13 ( still 5 target)
- Priest spell change : 50hp -> 100hp (mana cost double)
- High Priest heal spell changed: 100hp -> 200hp (mana cost double)

Marine:
- Hydra's Tripple attack changed: 60% -> 80% damage
- Hydra's mini hydra: spawn 2-->3 mini Hydra
- Highbone : add sphere (cost 0 mana, 7 second cooldown, 10 second duration)
- Sky Dragon's have 100% critical hit on air (sky dragon is upgrade from Egg)

Artic
- Add AE slow to azure dragon
- Ancient Wandigo evasion work correctly(was 7% with fake description, now 12%)
- Dragon Aspect & Azure Dragon have better animation

Ghost :
- Apparition have new aura: 5% (stack with Gravekeeper's aura)
- Apparition/Gravekeeper attack range changed (600->500, so aura cover more unit)
- Meridian (Ghost's 6th unit) HP change from 100->1000
- Ghost's Insanity : remove -12hp effect

Element :
- Mana regen aura : 3% -> 5% (eg, if you have 30mana, it will add +1.5 mana/second)

Shadow:
- Nightmare/Doppleganster tank better (light -> unarmored)

Nature:
- Tree of Knowledge's AoE spell limit to 15 target

Demi:
- Alpha Male: reduce spell animation (almost instantly cast)

Orc:
- Poison cannot kill creep (will leave it with 1hp)

Goblin:
- Goblin's driver will elf-destructive when die ( same effect as small/medium land mine)

Creep:
- level 22, 28 is slightly easier (around 5-10% easier)
- 17,18,23,24,25,26,27 is harder

Summon:
- correct shortcut key for Pudge & shaman
- Add new summon: Infernal (1000 Lumber, melee, Bash, Burning AOE)
- Behemouch changes: add +3 armor aura
- Krakken changes: add healing aura (+4 hp AOE)

Arena:
- Level 10 Arena = 1x free Turtle.
- Level 20 Arena = 3x free Turtle.
- Unit/Turtle won't move untill fight start
- Summon/Pet will remove after fight finish.
- Add new result for Arena: "Draw" (if both team die, they share the prize).
- Builder cannot move outside their own area during arena fight(before teleport)

Bug fix :
- Frost Aura & Telescope Aura won't stay after fighter die.
- Chariot won't make crit on Ascedent/unarmor
- Map is visible to all afer level 31.
- "-next" command won't display anything after level 31.
- Player cannot use Holy Light more than once
- Player cannot use Holy Light on your own building (can only cast on king)
- Player cannot buy wisp at start if -li mode is on.
- Goblin steamroller should summon driver after die
- Correct many description/tooltip errors.

Game & Hostbot:
- Remove income/bonus gold cap on -AP (mode "-li" will enable this cap)
- New map layout & size
- New Loading screen & minimap (thank Shengshun)
- New spawn & pathing (Try out 4v4, lag is much better now)
- Creep enter dark green area will received +2 armor
- Automatic "-next" information at the end of every wave.
- Bounty on leaked is more accuracy.
- Poisons cannot longer kill unit (poison will stop at 1hp, to avoid no bounty bug)
- after game over, game will shutdown in 30 seconds (not more AFKer for 10 hours on hostbot).
- Remove player name "attacker" on player 9 and 10. (hostbot can use these slot for talking)


Votekick :
- add new votekick system.
- start by -kick or -votekick. (you can cancel votekick after it start)
- Host have unlimit -votekick, everyone else can only "Fail" once.
- Require 50% positive vote to kick
- "Positive vote" = "Yes" - "No"

Hi , you cand remove the word "builder" , when a player pick a builder ? ex:"NoChances has picked Demi-Human Builder"
It`s annoying , when the players pick a builder.

And the votekick system , doesn`t work . When are 10 players and 1 is afk , we vote to kick one player , the bug shows 9/10 voted , and the vote close.

I need more information about why votekick not work:

did you try kick afk player ? (and it fail)
or you try kick someone else, but one player go afk and didn't vote (and it fail) ?

because it really hard to test vote kick with my own PC.

I need more information about why votekick not work:

did you try kick afk player ? (and it fail)

He(NoChance) means that he tryed to kick an afk player, all players voted yes but it was 9/10 and the vote closed. (The afk player was voted to be kick). It's like the afk player should vote to kick himself o.O.

It is impossible to play with mercenary. You don't have what to do with Gold. Mercenary would be stronger if the lumberjeck training would cost only Gold, because u need lumber, If u spent the lumber on lumberjack training u will not survive on future waves.

EDIT PS: Also I would like to say that Element is prety damn hard to play for a while now, could you please take a look at this builder? besides Fenix (which is kinda hard to get early game) and the Messiah (mana regen *_*), all other units are clearly unbalanced for x3. Water doesn't hit hard enough, neither the Owls, and the Golem is the worst tanker ever. Protons and their upgrade are fine for early, but they doenst hit hard/tank in mid~late game. Even doing mass units OR saving for Fenix in early game, Element can't hold some rounds (without incomes like auras, extra gold from leaks and with 4~7/1~4 wisps/lumber):
- Round 7 (sometimes its fine with some builds!)
- Rounds 11,12 and 13 (tough rounds for element)


Please notice that I do not change my builder during the course of the games.

EDIT 2 PS: please don't put a hot key in "change builder", i just miss clicked "C" while typing.

Trees now attack slowly or/and cant kill 3rd lvl creeps with 1 hit, so u got leak ~20. With simple yagg and sprite there was no leak even with dino.

Lots of discriptions is old ones, like meridian hp when u read it in priest's upgrade. Aqua spirit from elements called "egg sack". But it's not a problem i think.




After 31 lvl dsnt show opponent's king and survived army.

Forget to test in 3.3, but now it possible to change builder at, for example, 3rd time and pick prophet. And that prophet got 5 re-rolls. Im not sure that its correct.

Votekick -- ok, I know what happening now, will try modified the code

mercenary -- problem for Mecenary : Noob is so noob, Pro is too pro.... player report Mec is too overpower now, they can get 1200 income at level 20.

i only look at Pro's side & adjust Mecenary to make sure they are not too overpowerful

Element -- It is hard to play it right, but one of strongest race (high income & strong, only leak level 22 & 28)... wish I have replay to show you

Hotkey for change builder -- will remove

Trees (Ygg) -- I forget rollback the heal, it can't heal yourself in beta2, that is why it look so weak

change builder to Prophet, and get 5 re-rolls.... can't do much atm, I think if you get Prophet, it call luck Smile

incorrect discriptions : if you found any, please give me the name of units. because it is very hard for me to check them one by one for 100+ unit.

well, I do play a lot of legions every day, and i hold to what i said, element is weaker than other races EARLY GAME, and I'm telling you this based in 3 things: Dont get leak form other players, dont get extra gold from leaks that reach the enemy king, trying to get an acceptable income at lv 10~20 and without changing builder.

Also, if two players leak together after lv 20, its almost sure the king will die, even if its fully upgraded, but thats fine, its just the game. (:
Once again, I say element is clearly under powered early~mid game.

Feedback from undead:
The splash from the Meat Wagons/War Machine is working against air levels, both wagon un-upgraded and upgraded.
The Necromancer/Necrolyte doenst have a limit for summoning?


Feedback element:
In most games, its not possible to make that much wisp early game, because -li. Most game I play, people only set -ar ou -sd. Only my friends play it -arggcb.


I'm testing this in debug mode, so here it goes:
- lv1: its fine, even against whelp.
- lv2: Will leak if against dino.
(from now on I didn't send any auras or income at all.)
- lv3~lv10: All fine ^_^ (except maybe for lv9).
- lv11: tested it twice, leaked 15~20 units.
- lv12: fine.
- lv13: not fine, almost leaked.
- lv14~18: fine.
- lv19: (This lv is very tough for most races, i guess its because the spiders move fast and don't have collision size, idk. But I'm fine with that, its just the game.) I've tried this lv 4 times following your advice, with value 5435, meaning that I didn't push my income so hard, and all 4 times leaked 2~20 creeps.
- lv20: boss killed with ease. ^_^

After that there's no point in continuing testing, game vary a lot after lv 20, and most just end at lv 19 with demons or whatever.
Yes, its a good build, but im not really sure thats possible to get a Seer between lv 9~10. Also, any income sent by your enemies could spoil it in early game.

Huanak you see the movie "The Legend of the Seeker" ?
Because you can make that race with succes.

The characters can be:

The Seeker with sword of truth
Kahlan , mother confessor
Cara , the Mort-Sith
Zedd , the wizard
Darken Rahl , an evil king

And you can put their powers in legion.

Like Kahlan , have 15% to slave one creature ( 10% on boss )
Cara with her ageils can have critical and spell imunity.
Zedd can cast wizard fire ( 100 dmg AoE )
Darken Rahl , can summon 10 bone warriors ( atac 25-30 , hp 250 )

and other characters can be Chase ( the warrior , that help the seeker ) , Nass ( a Dragon Forces commander ) , Shota ( a witch that see the future )

and the 6th unit , can be the Seeker , and his evolution to be The Seeker with the Power of Orden ( invincible in movie , but i don`t think in game )

Because you can make that race with succes.
U really think, that it'll be nice to see 9, hmm, Zedds? Personalization for "towers" isn't good, i suppose.

And dps become smth about 600? Laught and cry.

Than, undead testing:
Zombies and butchers have medim armor in description and heavy after spawn as unit.
Necromancers and necrolytes(? omg, forgot name) have 15 and 19(or smth) mana as buildind and 32 after round start.
Mb it's better to make 3 upgrade of necromancers with unique type of skeleton each? Like shadows' tier 1.

And merc test:
That was short game, so i cant tell u smth incredible like 25k value. Now it hard to start, but after 10, or smone's leak 3-4 rounds in a row problem of def disappering. No much problems with income, but ive got ~300 at 19 and 7/15 can make me 800+ till 30.
I've got an idea about merc. Will it be good, if only half(or less) of survived merc after killing their creeps go to def king? With hard limit of max value ofc.

just ignore Element for now, (you can open a new thread for that Smile )


Next beta will focus on Undead & Mec adjustment. as well as reduce lag (it will take lots of time to rewrite code).

Necromance :
- ability may change,
- I want them summon as many skeleton as possible (every 10-15 second).
- but skeleton should expired
- skeleton should lower HP, so cannot use as tank.

Meat Wagan/death machine:
- should not splash on air

let me know the overall inbalance (eg, try find out most powerful combo, or kill with lowest value)

also need feedback on Mecenary ( like how much income after level 20, without change builder, and change builder)

PS:
- level 22, 29 is easier
- level 13 is easier
- level 9 is harder
- level 25 is much harder

When you fix the element bugs ?
Element race is the bad race ever !!
I`ve tested it , and you got leak after lvl 10 , of 2 in 2 rounds . It`s to weak this race !
If you play with oceanus & golem & fenix , you got leak .
If you play with violet & oceanus & golem & fenix , you got leak.
If you play with any strategy , you got leak.
Please see my last post .

lack of ability
you leak dont mean other player will leak too
just change some word in your post that contain " you " into " I "
i just try for 1 game and found that no leak at all!! from lv 1 to lv 10
relate to my last game 7/1 before lvl 10 with 42 income with value 1825

Ok. i test it on single player may be i got advantage from no player send creep and i send creep like dino(Slow speed) to increase my ic moreover i also had some luck at lvl 4
